Another Earth was a fascinating film for many reasons; I loved the characters and the actors who played them. The film covered some pretty deep questions; our human soul, captured the ongoing nagging question of "are we alone", the chance to go to an Earth where your problems disappear for a time. I watched this film late one night during a business trip for Dish, how I wished I could snap my fingers, and have some intellectuals with me to discuss the film. Fortunately, my next trip, I will be traveling with an intelligent colleague. He has already agreed that as long as I've gone to Dish Online and have the movie, gone to the hotel store and gotten the popcorn, he's there.
Learning to obtain knowledge is the the quest we all must take to reach our individual level of enlightenment.

The Great Movie Project: A Very Impolitic Post: We Need to Talk About Kevin (2012)
The Great Movie Project: A Very Impolitic Post: We Need to Talk About Kevin (2012)
I certainly had a strong reaction to the film and your fantastic review; I’ve read many of your reviews in the past and I love your nature of writing. I recently saw “We Need to Talk about Kevin” on a business trip for Dish. It’s astonishing how much flack Eva takes after such a horrific situation not of her own demise. Swinton’s portrayal of this character is brilliant as always, and I feel that Reilly is in his element outside his usual comedies; disturbing dramas are perfect for him. I cannot find anything that prepared me for the on slaughter upon my mind; I can see easily why this film took the Cannes. Subscribing to Blockbuster @Home, I have been enjoying streaming films to my laptop from Reilly’s past as well as Tilda Swinton’s outstanding career. There is nothing better for a frustrating missed connection then some alarming element of vulnerability in the American dream tragedy category.
